When you give to Eastown your gift is used to make an impact right here in the East Bay and beyond. Read on to see where you are making a difference.

Love Local

Through Love Local, we are able to resource and partner with kingdom and community focused organizations in the Bay Area and around the world, including:

Love Never Fails: restoring, educating, and protecting survivors of human trafficking and their community

Assist in funding the operations of their Youth Art and Agriculture House, a home for girls ages 12-17 and their families that have been impacted by trafficking.

Young Life Capernaum: inviting young adults with disabilities to experience life as God designed it to be lived.

Recruiting volunteers and providing financial support to make a difference in the lives of these young adults through bi-weekly clubs and special events.

Hope Water Project: providing access to clean water for the Pokot tribe throughout northwestern Kenya, creating pathways for physical and spiritual healing.

Resourcing the drilling and installation of a well for the health and healing of a village in Kenya.

Foster the City: raising awareness in churches for foster families and support friends to meet the needs of those in the foster care system.

Financial support to fuel the next growth phase in equipping churches, looking for new regions and areas, specifically Spanish speaking, to serve vulnerable children within the system.

Live Generously this Season

In addition to our Love Local partners, we believe it is our responsibility as people who follow Jesus to love local right where we live. We’re inviting you to also live generously by sharing the tangible love of Jesus with those in your ordinary paths. Here’s some creative ways to get started:

  • Surprise someone by filling their car with gas

  • Put out a snack box for your delivery

  • Bake cookies and take it to a neighbor you've never met

  • Host a pancake breakfast or hot chocolate bar in your neighborhood

  • Host a gingerbread house building competition in your workplace

  • Bring the fire pit to the driveway and host a s’mores party for your neighbors

  • Gather friends and family to write Christmas cards  and deliver them to an assisted living community.

  • Invite neighbors and friends to Christmas at Eastown
