kids Coordinator

POSITION OVERVIEW: 

To create a fun environment where kids know and experience the love of Jesus, and parents are equipped to help their kids pursue the life Jesus has for them. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recruit and build Eastown Kids Team

  • Develop and Train Eastown Kids Team

  • Provide Vision, Care, and Next Steps for Each Kids Volunteer 

  • Execute Eastown Kids Volunteer Scheduling

  • Coordinate curriculum and supplies for each class

  • Create an engaging atmosphere for large group

  • Oversee the setup and tear down of the Eastown Kids area

  • Develop a team to plan and execute special event Sundays

  • Partner with parents in the spiritual development of their children

  • Oversee Eastown Kids Attendance Reporting

  • Oversee Eastown Visitor Welcome Process

  • Attend staff meetings 2x per month

operations Coordinator

POSITION OVERVIEW: 

Eastown Church is a start up church in San Ramon, California. The Bay Area is the #1 un-churched and de-churched area in our nation. The East Bay in particular is a rapidly growing, diverse, and innovative culture and Eastown exists to expand the gospel to those individuals and families who do not know the love and freedom of Jesus Christ yet

POSITION OVERVIEW: 

The Operations Coordinator is first and foremost a church start up position. This position exists to develop systems and processes that not only help the operations of Eastown run efficiently, but help people connect in a way that takes them from being observers to partners at Eastown. In addition, this position will be responsible to oversee the details of Sunday mornings, all meetings, events and programs. 

DIRECT REPORT: Co-Lead, Michaell Dupin

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all administrative tasks for Eastown by improving/creating systems for efficiency and effectiveness 

  • Help execute all connection and assimilation processes

  • Oversee event planning 

  • Support ministry team leads to ensure coverage for all Eastown events

  • Manage supplies, inventory and details for Eastown Operations and Events

  • Oversee Eastown’s database

  • Work in cooperation with the facility/school point of contact

  • Work in cooperation with the Eastown bookkeeper to oversee budgetary items

  • Assist in the oversight of calendars; schedule key priorities

  • Help coordinate conferences, MT meetings and offsite trainings

  • Prepare for meetings and initiatives with documents, agendas and minutes, spreadsheets, food, fun, etc

  • Anticipate challenges and problem solve to help co-leads stay focused on leading the movement of Eastown forward

  • Organize & assist with HR processes and documents

  • Help create an enthusiastic and servanthood culture at Eastown

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Google Drive

  • Proven problem solving abilities with challenging deadlines and priorities

  • Ability to anticipate change and react efficiently and expeditiously

  • Strong teamwork skills, adaptability and a willingness to offer suggestions and improvements

  • Teachable spirit

  • Committed to the mission and vision of Eastown
