Supporting, Sending and Welcoming Churches

As the local church, our greatest impact is when we join together to see the Kingdom of God expanded. To start a new work, in a new area,  it takes other churches giving their resources, time, prayer and wisdom.

Kensington Church—with eight campuses nationwide—is the sending church for the Eastown Church. This will be Kensington’s 54th church plant. Eastown is also being supported by a number of other churches from all over the country, including churches right here in the East Bay. This start up church would not be possible without the unity and generosity of these churches.

Organizations

Eastown is partnering with Stadia, a church-planting organization that has successfully launched hundreds of churches in America, which will bring resources and support to their vision. Because the first few years of a new church are the most vulnerable, Stadia has designed systems and personnel that support the church planter and the new church.  This includes everything from family support to project management to financial controls.
One of the key and most attractive features of the Stadia system is the management team that surrounds the new church planter for the first few years. This is made up of veteran church leaders from five or six of the financially supportive churches who have also committed to spend regular time with Clint and the Eastown team.

Water is life…and hundreds of millions of people around the world are suffering today because they do not have access to clean water. Hope Water Project is committed to providing clean water by partnering with communities and drilling deep water wells in some of the world’s neediest areas. Our current project is to provide 1,000 new water wells for the Pokot tribe in northwestern Kenya.

Hope Water Project works with trusted partners on the ground to drill wells. Through our partner organizations, we steward the appropriate amount of knowledge and resources that are sustained through a high degree of local project ownership. Our project crews navigate unimaginable terrain, drill wells and maintain equipment, and assist in building flourishing communities once clean water is flowing.
